Differences in opinion

WELCOME to everyone, and thanks for joining!

I just want to point out something here that came to my attention. I hope it is understood that we are all NBA fans, though not necessarily fans of the same team. If we were, it would be a "Lakers" group, or a "Celtics" group, or whatever.

My point is, I hope we can all appreciate the sport, and the excitement of the NBA playoffs without getting hung up on attitudes about certain teams, and especially other people because of their support for those teams. Yes, there are certain teams playing that I am not fond of, but I will not throw a fit if they win the championship or even beat my team.

The fact that we are all on a different page is what makes the whole thing FUN! I would not want a group that all endorses the same team. It would be fairly boring compared to the group we're building here. Besides, it can be FUN to jest other people when their teams are losing. Likewise, we should be able to take some jesting about our own team. I am a Spurs fan, and fully expect it living in the L.A. area. It's all in good fun. Let's keep some perspective here. I expect that we are all mature people who can laugh off our differences. That being said, I look forward to meeting you all and having a great time enjoying NBA basketball!!
